Dashboard: overview and customisation

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you sign in to Stable Pro. It brings together the most important information about your equestrian centre on a single page, organised into independent widgets: the day's lessons, overdue payments, upcoming health deadlines, staff activity.

You can customise the dashboard by choosing which widgets to display and by changing their position and size.

Available widgets

When you register a new stable, the dashboard already contains eleven default widgets. Another five can be added at any time, if they are useful for running your centre.

Today

• Agenda — shows all the lessons of the week, organised by day and time.
• Quick Actions — gives you fast access to the operations you use most often, without going through the main menu.
• Lesson availability — shows the places still available over the next four weeks, broken down by level.

Stable status

• Activity and recovery — indicates each horse's workload through a four-level indicator, helping you spot any overwork.
• Stable Overview — summarises the total number of horses, distinguishing the centre's own from privately owned ones, and shows boarding revenue.
• Members Overview — displays the number of members and owners, and the birthdays of the month.

Deadlines

• Overdue payments — lists only payments that are already overdue, from the oldest to the most recent.
• Horse Health Deadlines — shows vaccinations, farrier visits, dental checks and other health activities approaching their due date.
• Expiring certificates — lists the medical certificates of members and staff that are close to expiry.

Staff and contacts

• Emergency contacts — gathers the details of vets, farriers, physiotherapists and other useful contacts, with quick access to a call or WhatsApp.
• Staff Overview — shows the number of instructors, the lessons held and the compensation due.

Optional widgets

In addition to the default widgets, you can add:

• Calendar — the monthly view of events.
• Feeding notes — the notes from the horses' feeding plans.
• Financial Overview — the summary of the month's income and expenses.
• Weather — the forecast for the configured location.
• Lesson Attendance — attendance trends over recent weeks.

Customising the dashboard

To change the dashboard:

1. Press Personalize, at the top right.
2. Drag the widgets to change their position.
3. Resize them by dragging the bottom-right corner. Three sizes are available: Small (1/3), Medium (2/3) and Large (full).
4. Press Add Widget to insert the widgets that are not yet displayed.
5. Press Close to leave editing mode.

Changes are saved automatically: there is no need to confirm them.

⚠️ The widget layout is shared by the whole stable. If you change the layout, the change will be visible to every operator at the centre. It is not a personal preference.

To remove a widget, enter customisation mode and use the × icon. You can add it back at any time without losing any data: widgets hold no information of their own, they read it from the other sections of the application.

Why a widget can be empty

An empty widget does not necessarily indicate a problem. There are three common causes.

You do not have the necessary permissions. If your role does not allow you to view certain information, the widget stays visible but shows empty or zero values. An operator without member permissions, for example, will see the Members Overview with no data.

There is no information yet. In the early stages it is normal for some widgets to be empty, because no horses, lessons, payments or other information have been entered yet.

The widget only covers a specific period. Lesson availability, for example, only covers the next four weeks, while Overdue payments shows only payments that are already overdue. If no data exists for that period, the widget shows an explanatory message instead of zero values.

Navigating between months

The Stable Overview, Members Overview and Staff Overview widgets let you consult data from different months using the navigation arrows. You can:

• go back up to thirteen months;
• view months already scheduled, up to three months ahead.

When the available limit is reached, the corresponding arrow is disabled.

Health deadlines and medical certificates are not subject to this limit and are always shown.

Time zone and data format

Dates, times, amounts and numbers shown on the dashboard always use the stable's settings, regardless of the computer or device you are using. A 09:00 lesson therefore stays at 09:00 even if you open Stable Pro from abroad.

You can change these settings under Settings → General, where you can configure:

• the time zone;
• the date format;
• the number format;
• the currency.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a different dashboard from other operators? No. The dashboard layout is shared by the whole stable.

If I delete a widget, do I lose data? No. Widgets display data that already exists in the other sections of the application. Removing them only changes the dashboard.

Why does the Financial Overview show different values from the other widgets? It should not. If you notice discrepancies, contact support: it is most likely a fault.

Can I trust the Activity and recovery widget? Yes, provided lessons are recorded with the horse correctly assigned. The indicator is based on the lessons actually recorded; if that information is missing, the widget says so explicitly instead of showing unreliable data.
